Opposing cuts to library opening hours

Heathfield Library

Labour party members were out in Heathfield yesterday to support the local library and oppose East Sussex County Council’s plans to cut library opening hours.

A consultation exercise on the proposed changes ends on April 3rd. Please visit https://consultation.eastsussex.gov.uk/ and let the council know how important the library service is to you.

The Kent & Sussex Courier also examines the potential impact of these changes in the article “Opening hours for East Sussex libraries set to be cut back“.
